About Bob and the Bob’s Network blog
I am the President of BC-Services K.K. BCS has evolved from a security industry company that was created in 2000. I have spent many years in Japan, gone through several levels of entrepreneur and corporate business relationships. From senior advisor to Fortune 500 level companies to driving start ups at a high brand, profit leading in the Tokyo market. Prior to arriving in Japan, was a combat correspondent traveling and working in about 57 countries. In between, I have been and continue to strongly contribute to various commercial and non-profit concerns in Japan and around the world.
I launched my blog as an email newsletter several years ago to share information of importance and culture of living in Japan with family, colleagues and acquaintances. Since that time, it has virally grown to a regular wealth of information and knowledge. Bob’s Network will be updated about twice a month with hot topics and information and issues I feel companies, people and other interested parties should be aware of.
Recent topics have included: thoughts on the current economic climate in post- Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (東日本大震災, Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) Japan and insights on personal sustainability and keeping safe.
